Box Score MARSHALL, Texas- The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets tied their game 1-1 versus the East Texas Baptist University Tigers.
 
During the first half of the game, neither team was able to score, making the score 0-0 at halftime. ETBU scored the first goal of the game in the 61^st minute. With just two minutes left on the clock, Julio Colmenares scored a goal for HPU off of a pass from Oscar De Santiago.
 
Howard Payne was able to get off 14 shots on the game. Julio Colmenares and Daniel Hernandez took a total of three shots each for the Yellow Jackets. Followed by Cristian Drake and Alexander Paz both with two total shots. For all 90 minutes, Eduardo Flores was in goal for HPU and recorded four saves.

The Yellow Jackets are now 6-6-4 on the season and 3-3-2 in conference play. The Yellow Jackets will take on LeTourneau University this Saturday, Oct. 29^th. They will compete in Longview, Texas at 7:30 pm for their last conference game of the season!
