BELTON, Texas- The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets fell short to University of Mary Hardin-Baylor 3-2.

UMHB was able to score two goals in the first half of the game, making the score 2-0 at halftime. HPU fought back in the second half, with a goal in the 53
rd minute of the game by
Gael Cancino. HPU's second goal was shot by
Alexander Paz on an assist from
Juan Narro in the 79
th minute. The Yellow Jackets were able to outscore UMHB in the second half 2-1, but fell short in the end, making the final score 3-2.

Howard Payne took a total of seven shots on the game, with five on goal.
Alexander Paz and
Taylor Hefner both took two shots each. The remainder of the shots were taken by
Gael Cancino,
Axel Kehrein, and
Ethan Mauldin.
