CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas - The Howard Payne University men's basketball team dropped 74-63 to the University of the Ozarks Eagles.
HPU's
Myles Brown led the team with 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. He was followed by
Harold Myart with 11 points and five rebounds, and
Deven Bailey with 11 points and two rebounds
The Yellow Jackets outscored the Eagles in the first half 38-30, shooting 44.74 % from the field.

With HPU up for most of the second half, the Eagles went on a 12-0 run towards the end of the game that put them ahead, which the Yellow Jackets were unfortunately not able to come back from.
The Eagles were led by Grayson Nix with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Howard Payne is now 2-5 overall and 0-2 in American Southwest Conference play. University of the Ozarks now stand at 7-1 overall and 2-0 in conference action. The Jackets will be back at home in Brownwood Thursday, Dec. 8
th. They will take on Hardin-Simmons University at 7:30 pm!
