BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University Lady Jackets competed against Concordia University this evening, and fell 3-0 to the Tornados.
 
The sets in today's game ended by the scores of 25-13, 25-15, and 25-9.
 
The Lady Jackets' Riley Brittain and Hannah Vega had 12 digs each, followed by Carsyn Bilbrey with nine digs. For assists, HPU's setter Kaitlyn Elsten recorded 12 assists. Abbie Knepper and Rylee Spencer led with four kills each.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 2-11 on the season. This Saturday, Oct. 1^st, they will be back in the Brownwood Coliseum for a double header against University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Lady Jackets' first match starts at 1:00 pm, followed by the second match at 3:00 pm!
