DALLAS, Texas – Today the American Southwest Conference announced the 2023 ASC Women's Basketball Preseason Watch List and three Lady Jackets were selected. Sophomore forward Anna Beamesderfer, graduate guard Trynadee Greenwell, and junior forward Aja Holmes rounded out the list for HPU.
 
Sophomore Anna Beamesderfer: Appearing in all 24 games for the Lady Jackets during the 2022-23 season, Beamesderfer recorded 149 points, 66 rebounds, 16 assists, and 19 steals. She also led the team in blocks with nine. Beamesderfer recorded a season-high 20 points and four blocks versus LeTourneau. She received Academic All-Conference as well.
 
Graduate Trynadee Greenwell: An ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipient, Greenwell started in all 24 games for the Lady Jackets during the 2022-23 season. She recorded 210 points, 111 rebounds, 48 assists, and 28 steals on the season. She had a season-high 20 points against University of the Ozarks. Greenwell was also a 2022-23 Academic All-Conference and CSC Academic All-District selection.
 
Junior Aja Holmes: A transfer from UMHB, Aja recorded 35 points, 46 rebounds, nine blocks, and 11 steals across 21 games during the 2022-23 season. Holmes had a season-high six points versus UT Dallas and seven rebounds versus LeTourneau. She was also selected to the ASC All-Freshman Team in 2021-22.
 
The Lady Jackets will kick off the 2023-24 season Monday, November 6^th traveling to Stephenville, Texas to take on Tarleton State at 7:00 PM. The first home game for HPU will be Thursday, November 9^th versus UDallas with tip-off at 5:30 PM.
