BROWNWOOD, Texas -- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team and Sul Ross St. played to a 2-2 draw Saturday (Oct. 21) at home at Citizens National Bank Field.
The draw moved Howard Payne's record to 2-10-2 overall.
How it Happened
Howard Payne broke the 0-0 tie when Anthony Herrera notched his second goal of the season in the 32nd minute, assisted by Taylor Hefner.
The Yellow Jackets went up 2-0 on a goal from Ethan Mauldin -- his third goal of the season -- in the 52nd minute, assisted by Wilondja Ebula.
Sul Ross St. narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Justin Quinonez's 72nd-minute goal.
The Lobos tied it up at 2-2 with an 88th-minute goal from Cristobal Rodriguez, assisted by Jair Moreno. Neither team scored again in the game.
