BROWNWOOD, Texas -- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team and Concordia (TX) played to a 0-0 draw Saturday (Oct. 7) at home at Citizens National Bank Field.
Howard Payne moved to 5-5-2 overall and 1-1-2 in ASC play following the draw.
Lady Jackets Graduate Defender Kendra Cecil broke the HPU all-time minutes played record for the women's soccer program, totaling 5711 minutes of action so far in her career. Cecil surpassed Kasse Nix (2010-2013) who had 5705 minutes of action and Susana Chavarria (2006-2009) who totaled 5066 minutes of action.
