Armonie Ramey each score 20 in a 99-81 loss to East Texas Baptist University Saturday afternoon.
Miles Koehler and
Armonie Ramey each had a team-high 20 points on the night. Ramey added five rebounds and a game-high five steals.
Jarod Johnson followed with 14 points and three assists.
Trailing 43-37 at the break, the Yellow Jackets went on to shoot 50.8% from the field in the game. But it was 63.3% shooting in the second half by ETBU that led to the 99-81 outcome.
The Yellow Jackets did force 20 ETBU turnovers while committing just 15. The Tigers won the rebounding battle 42-20.
ETBU was led by Darry Moore with 34 points followed by Kevin Charles and Aaron Gregg with 19 points each.
The Yellow Jackets will finish out the season next Saturday at Sul Ross State in Alpine, Texas. It will be a 3:00 pm start time.
