BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 7-2 to the University of Texas at Dallas Saturday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

The Yellow Jackets were able to take one and nearly a second of the three doubles points from UT Dallas.

HPU's  Sebastian Soria and Jonathan Villarreal won in number three doubles 8-5 and in number one double action Christian Fernandez and Nicolas Gates lost in a tie-breaker 8-7(7-4).

Gates also took his number six singles point 6-4, 6-0. Hunter Green narrowly lost in number four singles play 3-6, 6-2, 10-1.

The Yellow Jackets will play Oklahoma Wesleyan University at home on Monday at 3:00 pm at the Nabers Tennis Center.
