BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team battled in a 6-3 loss to Oklahoma Christian University Monday afternoon at HPU's Nabers Tennis Center.

Howard Payne took one of the three doubles points to start the day. HPU's Nicholas Crawford and Landon Ferree won 8-5 in number three doubles.

The Yellow Jackets picked up two additional points in singles play winning in the number four and five singles spots.

Landon Ferree won 6-0 and 6-1 in number four singles and Nicolas Gates won his number five singles match 6-1 and 6-1.
