Lady Jackets Fall On The Road

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Howard Payne fell 5-1 on the road against Texas Lutheran Friday (Sept. 15) at Gustafson Field.

The Lady Jackets dropped to 3-2-0 on the season following the loss.

How it Happened

Texas Lutheran broke the scoreless tie when Alyssa Simien scored in the first minute.

The Bulldogs added another score on a goal from Klarissa Martinez in the 13th minute, assisted by Simien.

Texas Lutheran went up 3-0 on Simien's 25th-minute goal.

The Yellow Jackets got on the scoreboard with a 56th-minute goal from Kate Recendez, her first goal of the season..

Texas Lutheran took a 4-1 game on Callie Brame's goal in the 61st minute.

thanks to a 79th-minute goal from Brame. The 5-1 held to the end of the game.
