BROWNWOOD, Texas - The College Sports Communicators today announced the 2024 Men's Soccer Academic All-District Teams and Howard Payne University's Deaven Connelly and Ashton Riedel were recognized on this year's list.

Deaven Connelly
An Honorable Mention All-Conference selection and Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year winner, Deaven Connelly started in 18 games for HPU totaling a team-high 1,461 minutes. At defender, Connelly totaled four shots with one on goal.

Ashton Riedel
A Second Team All-Conference selection at defender, Ashton Riedel started in all 19 games for HPU totaling 1,345 minutes played. Riedel totaled seven shots with four on goal.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late December.
