BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne University women's team fell 8-1 versus Concordia (TX) in conference action on Saturday Afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center in Brownwood, Texas.
 
In the number one doubles, Victoria Ramos and Lexie Nave were able to pick up the win 8-6 versus Concordia. The Lady Jackets would drop slots two and three in straight sets.
 
In singles action, HPU would drop all six sets versus the Tornados. Freshman Kaylee Mcleod scored the most points in the number six spot with three points in each set.
 
The Lady Jackets will look to bounce back on February 16^th where they travel to Seguin, Texas to take on Texas Lutheran University.
