Yellow Jackets Drop Match Versus ETBU

BROWNWOOD, TX – The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 8-1 to East Texas Baptist University on Saturday at the Nabers Tennis Center in Brownwood, Texas.
 
The Yellow Jackets lost straight sets in doubles with the number two and three spots dropping sets 8-3. Sebastian Soria and Landon Ferree served in the number two slot while Michael Woodard and Riley Harker fought in the third spot.
 
Riley Harker was the lone Yellow Jacket to earn a win defeating Carson Crow in number six singles 4-6,7-6, 10-2. Sebastian Soria fell in a tough number two singles match losing 2-6, 6-2, 4-6.
 
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on March 27th as they travel to Longview, Texas to take on LeTourneau University with match time set for 2:00 PM.
