LONGVIEW, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 8-1 to LeTourneau University on Wednesday in Longview, Texas. 

The Lady Jackets were unable to secure a point in doubles, dropping straight sets in number one and two doubles. HPU would lose set three by default. Zoe Sprayberry and Mikayla Hernandez fought hard, but would lose number two doubles 8-3. 

Victoria Ramos was able to claim number one singles defeating Megan LeBlanc 6-2 and 6-4. HPU would lose the next four singles matchups in straights with number six singles decided by default. 

The Lady Jackets will travel to Richardson, Texas to take on UT Dallas on April 4th with a start time of 1:00 PM.
