RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team dropped their road match 9-0 versus UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas on Thursday. 

The Lady Jackets started the day in doubles, losing the first two matches in straight sets while losing the third by default. Victoria Ramos partnered with Nina Delafuente in number one doubles (L, 1-8) while Mikayla Hernandez and Zoe Sprayberry duoed in number two doubles (L, 2-8). 

The Lady Jackets were unable to gain any momentum in singles, losing five in straight sets along with a number six singles loss by default. 

HPU will look to bounce back on April 13th as they host University of Ozarks at the Nabers Tennis Center with match-time set for 11:00 AM
