RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 9-0 to UT Dallas on Thursday in Richardson, Texas.
The Yellow Jackets opened the day with three doubles matches, but dropped all three in straight sets.
Nicolas Gates partnered with
Caleb Lambert in number one doubles (L, 1-8) while
Sebastian Soria and
Landon Ferree dropped the number two slot (L, 1-8). Closing out the doubles matches,
Riley Harker and
Michael Woodard would partner (L, 2-8).
Howard Payne could not swing the momentum in singles, as they lost all six in straight sets.
Sebastian Soria put up a valiant effort in number two singles losing 1-6, 4-6.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on April 13th as they host University of the Ozarks at the Nabers Tennis Center with match-time set for 11:00 AM.
