BROWNWOOD, Texas -- Howard Payne University fell 1-0 in an exhibition match to Wayland Baptist University Wednesday (Aug. 28) at Citizens National Bank Field.

How it Happened

After the Pioneers took a 1-0 lead into the half, Howard Payne kept Wayland Baptist off the scoreboard the remainder of the game. Dane Tinkis led Howard Payne with three saves.
