AUSTIN, -- Howard Payne came up short against Concordia (TX) 2-1 Saturday (Sept. 21) on the road at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.
The loss dropped Howard Payne's record to 0-4-3Â overall.
How it Happened
Howard Payne broke the 0-0 tie when Dylan Massingill scored his first goal of the season in the 59th minute, assisted by Juan Narro.
The Tornados leveled the match on a goal from Ahmad Alhendi in the 85th minute, assisted by Antonio Rios.
Concordia (TX) then took a 2-1 lead on Marco Casulli's 89th-minute goal, assisted by Theo Givens. The 2-1 score held to the end of the game.
