Lady Jackets drops game against ETBU

MARSHALL, Texas -- Howard Payne came up short against East Texas Baptist 1-0 Thursday (Sept. 26) on the road at Cornish Field.

Howard Payne dropped to 4-4-1 overall and 0-1-0 in ASC play with the loss.

How it Happened

After the Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break, Howard Payne kept East Tex. Baptist scoreless the remainder of the game. Landry Combs led Howard Payne with seven saves. The Yellow Jackets registered seven shots in the loss, two of them on goal. Howard Payne faced 15 ETBU shots, eight of them on goal.
