Azaylee Santos turned in one of her most complete performances of the season, scoring 13 points on an efficient 5-for-6 shooting, including 3-of-4 from three-point range. Santos also filled the stat sheet with six rebounds, seven assists, and four steals, helping spark Howard Payne on both ends of the floor.

The Yellow Jackets continued to find scoring depth throughout the lineup, with Hope Hermesmeyer providing a big lift off the bench. Hermesmeyer knocked down four three-pointers, finishing with 12 points in just 22 minutes and giving Howard Payne a consistent perimeter threat.

Kate Buchanan added nine points, converting five of six free throws, while Taylor McAfee contributed seven points, five rebounds, and solid defensive pressure in the backcourt. Kaley Nicholson chipped in seven points, including key free throws late, while providing energy and hustle in her minutes.

Howard Payne shot 43.5 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three-point range, showing offensive efficiency and ball movement throughout the game. The Yellow Jackets also generated 21 points off turnovers and received 19 points from the bench, highlighting both defensive activity and depth.
