BROWNWOOD, Texas --The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets struggled on Tuesday, falling to the McMurry War Hawks by final score of 8-3.
L. Watkins (0-1) got the ball to start for Howard Payne (6-10) and took the loss. B. Read was a bright spot for the Yellow Jackets, coming out of the bullpen and throwing two shutout innings, allowing one hit, with no walks and four strikeouts.
