DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2024-25 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams and Howard Payne University's Brenna Douthit was named to the team list for women's soccer.
 
 A First Team All-Conference honoree as a midfielder, Brenna Douthit started in all 19 games for the Lady Jackets, finishing first on the team in goals (7). Her breakout season also saw her lead the team in total points with 19. Logging 1,326 minutes of action, Douthit recorded 43 shots, 22 being on goal. She was named HPU's Female Outstanding Scholar-Athlete award winner.
 
Student-athletes were nominated by their institution as part of the Distinguished Scholar-Athlete team for each sport.
