BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne University Women's Soccer team received major recognition as the American Southwest Conference announced its 2025 All-Conference awards. HPU was also well-represented on the All-Conference Second Team, with defenders Kendall Watkins, Kate Nordhaus, and Kaylin Greger all earning recognition for their contributions to one of the toughest back lines in the conference. Additionally, forward Alayna Lopez and midfielder Brenna Douthit were honored for their offensive impact and steady play making presence, rounding out an impressive list of Lady Jacket awardees.

"This group has been phenomenal," said Head Coach Brandon Badgeley. "To see our players earn these honors is a reflection of the hard work, belief, and togetherness this team has shown all year. Landry and Abbie have been tremendous leaders, and for us to have multiple defenders recognized just shows the depth and commitment of our squad. I'm incredibly proud of them and excited for what's ahead."

The Lady Jackets' strong showing in the ASC awards underscores the program's growth and competitiveness under Badgeley's leadership. Sharing Co-Coach of the Year honors alongside UMHB's Barry Elkins, Badgeley guided HPU to one of its best all-around performances in recent years, with the team displaying resilience and unity in one of the most competitive women's soccer conferences in NCAA Division III.

With multiple All-Conference selections, two major individual awards, and a clear upward trajectory, the Lady Jackets continue to solidify their place among the ASC's elite.
