Biography

2011- An injury cut Evangelina’s season short but not before she recorded 18 hits in 54 at bats with seven RBIs. Her .333 batting average was leading the Lady Jackets at the time.

2010- Playing in all 35 games for HPU, Evangelina had 21 hits in 96 at bats. She had 10 RBIs and was 3 of 3 in stolen bases.

HS- She graduated from Pasadena high school and was a three year letterman. Her sophomore year in 2007 she was First Team All-District and was named Newcomer of the Year.

Personal- Evangelina is from Pasadena, Texas. She is the daughter of Melinda Munos and Fredrico Tellez. She is an Exercise and Sports Science major and a History minor. She plans on coaching high school softball after she graduates in 2013.
