Biography

HS-At Mt Pleasant high school she lettered four years in soccer and was named 1st team All-District and Co-Offensive MVP in her time there. Yuri was a leader on her high school team being named team captain her junior and senior seasons. Off the field she was a HOSA member and on the Homecoming court.

Personal-Graduating from Mt. Pleasant high school in 2007 she did attend Northwest Texas CC one year before coming to Howard Payne. She is majoring in Criminal Justice/Forensics and plans to work in the forensics field after graduation. She served as president of her high school youth group. She also wants to be involved in youth ministry after graduation. Yuri is the daughter of Christina Moreno and has two younger sisters.
