Biography

2022: A first team all-conference selection, Bell finished sixth in the ASC in total tackles with 84 (50 solo, 34 assisted). He had double-digit tackles in three games with a season-high 15 versus McMurry, earning him ASC Player of the Week. Bell recorded seven pass breakups while also earning Academic All-Conference honors.

2021: A second-team all-conference selection, Bell played in all ten games for the Yellow Jackets and finished the regular season fifth in the ASC in total tackles with 67 and averaged 6.70 per game. This is his second time receiving all-conference honors. Bell also received ASC Academic All-conference

2020-21: A First-Team All-Conference defensive back, Kyle led the conference and was ranked fifth in the nation in total tackles with 56 (10.6 per game). He also led the league in solo tackles with 31, recorded three pass breakups, and had one interception. Kyle was named the ASC Defensive Player of the Week one time this season. 

2019: Appeared in four games for the yellow jackets, recording eight solo tackles and five assists for 13 total tackles on the season.

2018: Played in nine games for the Yellow Jackets, recording 16 solo tackles for the year.

High School: Played at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas. He was a one-year football letter winner, earning 1st team All-District defensive back honors and academic All-District. Also participated in soccer.
 
Personal: Kyle is the son of Steve and Luz Bell. He is a Business Management major.
