2023: 2nd Team CSC Academic All-American, Casey Dufner played tight end for the Yellow Jackets. A 1st Team All-Conference selection, Casey played in all ten games for the Yellow Jackets averaging an ASC-best 19.9 yards per reception. Dufner totaled 338 receiving yards on just 17 receptions. He recorded a career-high 114 receiving yards and one touchdown versus Sul Ross State. Dufner was also a D3football.com 2nd Team All-Region selection. Finishing his college career with a 4.0 in his undergraduate degree and 4.0 in graduate work, Dufner was also the HPU Outstanding Male Scholar-Athlete, and an American Southwest Conference Medal of Honor recipient. Dufner was one of five student-athletes who boasted a perfect 4.0 GPA in his undergraduate and graduate studies. 

2022: An ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipient, Dufner appeared in ten games for the Yellow Jackets catching five passes for 69 yards. Dufner was also a Nat Tracy Servant Leadership Award winner. He would be named a CSC Academic All-District selection as well as Academic All-Conference.

2021: Playing in all ten games for the Yellow Jackets, Dufner recorded three touchdowns on five catches playing tight end for the Yellow Jackets. Dufner received ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Nominations. He also received ASC Academic All-Conference, and HPU’s Outstanding Male Scholar-Athlete Award for the highest GPA among upperclassmen at HPU.

2020-21: Appearing in four games for the Yellow Jackets, Casey received five passes for a total of 38 yards. He also registered three solo tackles.

2019: Did not see action for the Yellow Jackets.

2018: Did not see action for the Yellow Jackets.

HS: Dufner attended NYOS Charter School in Austin, Texas.
