2009- In 19 plate appearances, Brandie hit.210 with four hits and two runs batted in.

2008 Hill JC- Brandie played for Hill Junior College before transferring to Howard Payne. Her team made it into the NJCAA Regional softball tournament ended her season with a 1.7 era from the circle. Graduated with an Associates of Arts degree and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa National Junior Honor Society. Brandie made the Dean’s List three out of her four semesters at Hill JC. 

2007 Hill JC- Pitched for the Lady Rebels recording a 1.9 in her freshmen season.

HS- She is a 2006 graduate of Mineral Wells High School where she lettered all four years in softball. She was an Academic All-American and pitched three no-hitters and four one-hitters. Outside of athletics Brandie was a member of the National Honor Society, Pathfinders and volunteered her time coaching and umpiring. 

Personal- Brandie is double majoring in Education and Coaching. After graduation she wants to pursue a career as a teacher and a coach. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, a junior high mentor and has also been on the Dean’s List. She is the daughter of Jeff and Doris Rucker and has one younger brother.
