2023: Appearing in 11 games for HPU, Wineman finished second in strikeouts for the Lady Jackets with 10. She was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2022: Appearing in 18 games for the Lady Jackets, Wineman finished second on the team in strikeouts with 15 while pitching 68.2 innings. She was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

Previous: Heather played two years of college softball at Cisco College before transferring to Howard Payne.

HS: Heather played four years of varsity softball at Refugio High School in Refugio, Texas. In her time there, she was named newcomer of the year and MVP three times. She was also a member of the volleyball team and the National Honors Society.

Personal: Heather is the daughter of John and Yara Wineman and has two siblings. She is a nursing major.
