2008-2009 - Ross went 8-10 in the #2 singles spot. He had a 3-5 record in the American Southwest Conference action. He was also named All-Conference Honorable Mention in #2 doubles. Sidman and his partner Raymond Borjas went 11-1 in #2 doubles. 

2007-2008 - Playing in the number 2 spot in singles for the Jackets, Ross had an overall record of 7-7 and was 3-4 in conference play. Ross teamed up with Nate Alger in doubles and they had an overall record of 7-3, 5-2 in conference play. Ross was named Second Team All-West Division. 

2006-2007 - Ross was 6-8 in singles overall and 3-4 in conference play. While playing with four different partners in doubles, Ross had an overall record of 5-9. 

HS- He is a 2006 graduate of Clear Lake High school where he lettered in tennis. 

Personal- James is majoring in Criminal Justice and is a member of Phi Kappa Chi. He is the son of Bennie and Jud Sidman and has three sisters.
