2009- Paul started in 17 games at defender for the Jackets putting together the second most time on the field with 1,475 minutes. He was named to the Third-Team All-Conference list and Academic All-Conference.

2008- Paul started all 17 games and recorded 1,277 minutes played. Even though a defender, he was still able to contribute with a goal on the season against Concordia University Texas. His hard play paid off and he was named Honorable Mention All-Conference at defender.

HS- He is a 2008 graduate of Poteet High School. He was a 4 year letter men in soccer and received many All-District awards including Defensive MVP. Paul led his team to the 2008 District 15-4A Championship shutting out 13 of their 18 opponents. He also excelled academically being named to the National Honor Roll. 

Personal- Paul is currently undecided on his major but hopes to go into the Ministry in some way. He is the son of Bobby and Amy Deets and has one older sister.
