BROWNWOOD, Texas – The No. 1 seed in the American Southwest Conference East Division Louisiana College wins 64-54 over the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in the quarter-finals of the women's basketball ASC Championship.

After a so-so first half, the Lady Wildcats led 28-22 at the half. UMHB came out of the locker room and pulled within one point of LC's lead with 14 minutes remaining. The Lady Wilcats responded with a 13-1 run in the next six minutes to extend their lead out for good and win the game in the end.

For Louisiana College, Tillisha Givens had 15 points and nine rebounds, Roslyn had 17 and five rebounds, and Kayla Guidry had 16 points. For UMHB, Lindsay Eaton led the way with 13 points, and six rebounds.
 
Lady Wildcats advance to play Hardin-Simmons University in the Semi-finals, the West No. 2 seed at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Brownwood Coliseum.
