Zach began assisting with the Yellow Jacket baseball program in the fall of 2020.

As a player at HPU, Zach started five of 12 games played in for the Jackets recording six hits on 18 at bats.

Before coming to Howard Payne for his last two seasons of college, Zach played one season with The Complete Showcase Post Grad. He then appeared in 18 games for the Tigers of Central Christian College (Kan.). He hit .333 with two doubles and 4 runs batted in.

A graduate of Plano Senior High School in Plano, Texas, Zach holds a holds a degree in Business Management from HPU.
