Ross Hornor joined the HPU football staff in 2021, previously working at Louisiana Tech as an offensive line graduate assistant coach.

At Louisiana Tech, Hornor was responsible for opponent film breakdown, direct scout team, recruiting, and summer camps on top of his duties coaching the offensive line and the game day coaches’ box.

From 2017-2019, Hornor worked as a student assistant with the Louisiana Tech running backs and special teams.

Hornor coached in four bowl games, helping three different Louisiana Tech rushers gained over 1,000 yards in a season while at Louisiana Tech.

Hornor received from Louisiana Tech a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the summer of 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana Tech in 2018.
