2019: An Honorable Mention All-Conference as an Outfielder, she finished tied for second in the nation in Sac Hits per game (.49) and Total Sac Hits with 19. She had 37 hits along with 19 walks for HPU. She was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2018: Was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as an outfielder...Struck out 23 batters in 81.2 innings in 12 starts and 23 appearances overall...Named an Academic All-Conference selection and to the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team.

2017: Tonya started 30 of 33 games for the Lady Jackets recording 11 hits and scoring seven times. Mainly used as a pitcher, Tonya struckout 23 batters in a team high 81.2 innings pitched in 23 appearances in the circle.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Cisco High School, Thompson played three years of varsity softball, four years of varsity basketball and two years of varsity cross country. She was a first team All-District selection in softball and a second team All-District basketball player. She was also the MVP of her softball team during her senior season and hit for a cycle while pitching two no-hitters.

Personal: A member of the National Honor Society, Tonya is a Kinesiology major. She is the daughter of Tim and Shannon Thompson and she has three siblings.
