2020-21: Playing in 16 of 17 games for the Lady Jackets, Amanda was named the ASC West Division Freshman of the Year and selected to the All-Freshman Team, and named second-team All-Conference. Amanda was second in the ASC in total three-pointers made (37), and she led the team in points, averaging 12.2 a game. She was named the ASC West Division Player of the Week once during the season

HS: Amanda was a four-year letter in basketball at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas, where she was the team captain.  During her time there, she earned First Team All-District and Defensive Player of the Year accolades, and her team advanced to the third round of playoffs.  She is involved with Ready, Set, Teach 1 & 2.

Personal: Amanda is the daughter of Tim and Margaret Turpin and has two siblings.  She is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and she hopes to get into coaching and teaching after graduation.
