Box Score BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne's Hannah Hicks recorded six kills and five total blocks in a 3-0 non-conference victory for the Lady Jackets over visiting Huston-Tillotson University Tuesday evening.

The match never really seems in question with the Lady Jackets taking the first set 25-15. HPU would take next two sets 25-20 and 25-21, with all the Lady Jacket reserves seeing action.

Hannah Hicks led the way with six kills and five total blocks. Harli Benham and Taylor Jordan followed with five kills each. Shelby Bridges finished with a team high 11 digs and Allyson Adams led with 16 assists.

The Lady Jackets would hold Huston-Tillotson to just a .194 attack pct but could have been lower due to 11 HPU blocking errors.

Howard Payne now stands at 13-5 overall and Huston-Tilloston is 1-17 overall. The Lady Jackets will play host to an American Southwest Conference pod this Saturday as Hardin-Simmons and UT-Dallas come to Brownwood for a round of matches starting at 11:00 am.
