Box Score BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne men's soccer team lost 3-0 to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday afternoon in conference action at Citizens National Bank Field.

UMHB outshot the Yellow Jackets 18-9 overall and 9-4 in shots on goal. Kevin Ruiz got off four total shots and two on goal for Howard Payne. Ben Chism and Shay Pate also recorded shots on goal.

Ryan Young got the loss in goal for Howard Payne playing all 90 minutes and recording five saves.

Leading 1-0 at the break after scoring in the 12 minute, UMHB added scores in the 52nd and 54th minutes to round out their scoring.

Howard Payne is now 1-11 overall and UMHB stands at 3-6-1 overall. The Yellow Jackets will play at home next Friday and Saturday versus Mississippi College and Louisiana College, both a 3:00 pm start.
