TYLER, Texas - The Howard Payne volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-16,27-25,25-14) to the University of Texas at Tyler Saturday afternoon in conference action.
The Lady Jackets for the second day in a row would play their best volleyball in the second set taking UT-Tyler to 27-25 in the second. Howard Payne dropped the first and third sets 25-16 and 25-14 respectively.
Briana Williams led Howard Payne with nine kills on a .240 attack pct.Â
Micah Cisneroz had eight kills and
Breanne Cathey followed with six kills. Allsion Eaton had 19 assists with 15 digs.
Shelby Bridges led the team with 20 digs.
Howard Payne is now 1-17 overall and 0-10 in conference play. UT-Tyler stands at 13-7 overall and 10-2 in conference. The Lady Jackets will play next on Tuesday, Oct 14th at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor starting at 6:00 pm.
