Lady Jackets Drop Double Header

LONGVIEW, Texas – The Howard Payne volleyball team lost in straight sets 3-0 to LeTourneau University and McMurry University back to back Saturday afternoon.

Against LeTourneau University the Lady Jackets lost 3-0 (25-18, 25-17,25-23). Briana Williams had 7 kill on 22 attempts and Micah Cisneroz had 6 kills on 24 attempts. Allison Eaton led the Lady Jackets with 12 assists. Shelby Bridges had a total of 19 digs.

The Lady Jackets played McMurry University next losing 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-14). Taylor Reid and Briana Williams had 5 kills each leading the team. Allison Eaton had a total of 18 assists and Shelby Bridges had 17 digs.

Howard Payne is now 0-11 overall and 0-4 in ASC action. The Lady Jackets will play on Tuesday the 23rd in the Brownwood Coliseum at 6 pm.,
