RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team fell 7-2 to the University of Texas at Dallas in conference tennis action Friday afternoon on the road.

Howard Payne would pick up there only two points of the match in the number two doubles and number four singles spots.

Breanna Hunt and Tiffany Bullock in number two doubles to defeat Kennedi Rose and Leigh Dubcak of UT-Dallas 8-3.

Hunt would be involved in the other HPU team point winning her number four singles match 6-1, 6-3 over UTD's Kennedi Rose.

Howard Payne is now 2-9 overall and 0-1 ASC West action.,Texas Dallas is 2-1 overall and 1-0 ASC West play. The Lady Jackets will play next tomorrow at East Texas Baptist in Marshall, Texas starting at 11:00 am.
