ABILENE, Texas - Zhartezia Bradley led Howard Payne University with 20 kills in a 3-2 victory over Belhaven University Friday evening at the American Southwest Conference Crossover hosted by Hardin-Simmons and McMurry.

Zhartezia Bradley recorded 20 or more kills for the third time this season in Howard Payne's 3-2 (25-14,22-25,25-15,12-25,15-11) over Belhaven University at the conference crossover.

Down 6-8 in the fifth set, the Lady Jackets outscored the Blazers 9-3 to take the set 15-11 and the match 3-2. 

Following Bradley's match high 20 kills was Jordan Rogers and Kailey Doering with 10 kills each. Cheyanne Lovelady finished with a match high 39 assists and Jordan Livingston had a match high 36 digs. Lovelady added three service aces.

In a match earlier in the day, the Lady Jackets fell to nationally ranked University of Texas at Dallas 3-0 (25-9,25-13,25-20). 

Zhartezia Bradley led HPU with seven kills Cheyanne Lovelady had 18 assists and Jordan Livingston had 16 digs.

Howard Payne is now 8-14 overall and 6-7 American Southwest Conference play. The Lady Jackets will finish out the ASC Crossover with a match versus East Texas Baptist University at 12:00 noon.
