Box Score MEMPHIS, TN - Howard Payne University's Khyce Randall scored a career high 41 in the HPU 141-107 loss at Rhodes College Saturday afternoon.

Despite shooting 56.3% from the field and out rebounding Rhodes by two (39-37), Thirty-five Howard Payne turnovers proved to be a big factor in the Yellow Jackets 141-107 road loss at Rhodes.

With Rhodes leading 65-53 at the break, the Lynx outscored the Jackets 76-54 in the second half to the 141-107 final. 

HPU's Khyce Randall scored a game and career high 41 points on 14 of 23 shooting from the field and 11 of 14 shooting at the line. Randall also had a team high 12 rebounds along with four assists and two steals.

Timothy Aguero finished with 13 points on 4 of 7 shooting with four assists. Drake Cooper and Darren Farmer each had 12 points. Shadd Cole had 10 points and four assists. Talen Davis added a team high five assists.

Rhodes was led by Bryce Berry with 20 points followed by Price Dalton and Vaughn Samson with 13 points each.

Howard Payne is now 0-3 on the year and Rhodes stands at 3-1 overall. The Jackets will play next on Sunday at 1:00 pm versus Millsaps College. HPU will then travel to the University of Texas at Dallas on Thursday for both team's conference opener at 7:30 pm.
