BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis fell 9-0 to conference opponent University of Texas at Dallas Thursday evening at the Nabers Tennis Center,

Despite dropping all three doubles points, the Lady Jackets were very competitive in number two and three doubles matches.

Chesney Goza and Breanna Hunt lost 8-3 in number two doubles and Rosie Cadena and Cheyanne Lovelady fell 8-6 in number three doubles action.

The Lady Jackets would drop all singles points in straight sets

Howard Payne is now 4-7 overall and 0-1 in American Southwest Conference play. UT Dallas stands at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in league action. The Lady Jackets will play tomorrow March 9th at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas at 4:00 pm.
