BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer fell 2-0 to Hardin-Simmons University in conference action earlier this afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets fell behind 18-7 in total shots an 9-0 in shots on goal, with two different Yellow Jackets; Angel Rives and
Zachary Moreno recording two shots.

Andrew Hackney played all 90 minutes in the goal recording seven saves and allowing two goal.
Hardin-Simmons recorded its goals in the 19th and 75th minutes of the match.
Howard Payne is now 3-11 and 1-6 in American Southwest Conference action, Hardin-Simmons is now 12-2 overall and 5-2 in league play. The Yellow Jackets will play a 3:30 pm match against McMurry University on Saturday Oct. 19th at Citizens National Bank Field. The HPU senior will be recognized before the match.
