Brownwood, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball club dropped an ASC conference match in straight sets to the Cowgirls of Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday night.

The Cowgirls took set one 25-14, set two 25-11 and set three 25-15. Mitsue Rodriguez led the Lady Jackets in kills with 6, and Ciara Chappel led in blocks with 3.Kaitlyn Elsten added 9 assists, and Kylee Shirley and Elsten both had 7 digs.

Howard Payne will be home over fall break this weekend, Oct. 26th, to take on Sul Ross State University. The first serve will be in the Coliseum.at 2:00 pm.
