Brownwood, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball Club hosted Sul Ross State in an ASC conference match on Saturday. They dropped the match in 4 sets in their final conference home game.
After Sul Ross took set one 25-17, the Lady Jackets fought back and took the second set by the same score of 25-17. Sul Ross went on to take the next two sets 25-15, and the match 3 sets to 1.
Amaya Marshall led the Lady Jackets in kills with 9,
Mitsue Rodriguez and
Hannah Rule both had 3 aces.
Kaitlyn Elsten had 15 assists followed by
Kennedy Sam's 14.
Elizabeth Benn led in digs with 15 followed by
Hannah Rule's 11.
The Lady Jackets drop to 2-23 on the season, 0-14 in the ASC. They will be back on the road Tuesday, Oct. 29th, in Abilene to battle McMurry. The first serve will be 7:00 pm.
