Abilene, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball Club headed up the road to Abilene to take on the War Hawks of McMurry on Tuesday night. The War Hawks took the match in straight sets.

The Lady Jackets fell 3-0 to McMurry by scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-17. Mya Ross led the Lady Jackets in kills with 11, Kennedy Sam led with 13 assists and Elizabeth Been had 15 digs. 

Howard Payne falls to 2-24 on the season and will finish the season 0-15 in American Southwest Conference play. The final game of the season will be this Thursday, Oct. 31st in the Coliseum. Christian Wilson, the lone senior on the team, will be honored in the match against Austin College. The first serve will be at 6:00 pm.
