Alpine, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball team traveled to Alpine, Texas to do battle with ASC opponent Sul Ross State University. The Lady Jackets dropped the maatch in straight sets 25-15, 25-14, and 25-14.

Shaylyn Wise led the Lady Jackets in kills with 7, Logan Boyd followed with 12 assists, and Kylee Shirley added 12 digs of her own. 

The Lady Jackets wil be on the road next weekend in Marshall, Texas fighting with ASC opponents East Texas Baptist University on Friday at 3:00 pm, Belhaven University that same day at 7:00 pm, and then a rematch with Louisiana College on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
